This portal is output of the SKINT project. Case studies, reports, photos, videos and much more can be accessed for truly sustainable urban water management.
Transnational cooperation, information and knowledge exchange is essential in multidisciplinary planning. By using this portal, communities, individuals and professionals can take part in the information and experience exchange for common knowledge gain.

This portal enables users to upload and search for information, knowledge and experience concerning urban water management. It is a searchable achieve with links and information for past and present EU projects and other relevant projects. In this web portal links can be found to the web portal of the Interreg projects MARE and FRC.

                        

How to find information:
For finding information in this portal, you can choose between two search engines. Both searches will lead to the same result.
• Free text search: By clicking Text Search you access the free text search for the web portal. It is best suited, if you know what you are looking for. You can search for any information saved by the author during upload of information such as keywords, title, author, institution, location etc.
• Category search: the Category Search button opens the category search. This search engine will show you all information saved in the categories you selected. You can search for more categories at the same time.

Categories:
All information in this web portal is structured in categories. The main categories are Action Areas and Area Types. By clicking on the specific main category you can see the subcategories for each main category (see also Category overview).

 

 

 

 

 

The search for main categories Action Areas and Area Types gives you all all information in these categories. You can refine your search by clicking on one subcategory. Please note: the category search is an “AND” search: if you search via Action Areas (with subcategories) AND via Area Types (with subcategories) you are refining your search to results only in both categories (subcategories). If you are e.g. searching for Action Area “Flood Risk: Analysis and Assessment” AND Area Type “Development areas” you will only get results for “Flood Risk: Analysis and Assessment” that deal with “Development areas”. For all “Flood Risk: Analysis and Assessment”-Result leave Area Types blank.


Results:
Both search engines will present you a list with the results of your search. By clicking on a specific search result, you get general information on this search result such as description, author, institution etc. You can now decide to access the uploaded information or to go back to your search results.
